The Syrian Opposition Coalition expresses its heartfelt sympathy for the brotherly Lebanese people in these trying times. We extend our sincere condolences to the families of the victims who died in the deadly explosion that took place at Beirut port late on Tuesday as we wish the wounded a speedy recovery.
Standing beside the Lebanese people is everyone’s duty, especially the Syrian people who we ask to provide whatever form of support they can.
The Syrian people stands in solidarity with their Lebanese brothers who have been showing noble, humanitarian stances towards the Syrian people and who have been standing on their side through thick and thin.
We call upon brothers and friends to urgently relieve Lebanon and help it recover from this disaster especially as the country is already reeling from an acute economic crisis. We hope that this brotherly country will overcome this terrible ordeal soon.
