The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) expresses profound sorrow and extends its deepest condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the government of the State of Kuwait, their Highnesses and Excellencies, the brotherly Kuwaiti people, and the Arab and Islamic nations on the sad demise of His Highness the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. May God Almighty cover him with His vast mercy and grant him a place in His spacious Paradise.
The late Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was known for his patriotic and humanitarian commitments, standing alongside the Syrian people during challenging times. His significant efforts in fostering security, stability, and prosperity in the sisterly State of Kuwait, as well as his unwavering support for peace and stability in the region, have left a lasting impact.
The SOC acknowledges the enduring legacy of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and extends heartfelt sympathy to the ruling family, the government, and the people of Kuwait during this period of mourning.
