On behalf of the Syrian people, the Syrian Opposition Coalition extends its heartfelt condolences to the brotherly people of Algerian for the deaths of civilians and soldiers of the Algerian army who lost their lives while they were carrying out their duty to rescue people trapped behind the wildfires raging in the north of the country.
We wish the injured a speedy recovery and safety for all the people of Algeria, especially in the fire-stricken areas.
The hearts of the Syrian people go out to their Algerian brethren in the face of this ordeal. We hope that the wildfire will be contained without any further losses, and that sisterly Algeria will overcome this ordeal as soon as possible.
