The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) mourns prominent Syrian philanthropist Abdul Malik Olabi who died from illness in Istanbul on Sunday.
The (SOC) expresses its sincere condolences to Olabi’s family and friends as it pays tribute to his distinguished, charitable work in education, caring for orphans, and the service of the Syrian people and their revolution.
Despite this great loss, the mission and message for which Olabi devoted his life will continue after him at the hands of many of his fellow Syrians who were taught by him and benefited from his initiatives, activitisim, and educational projects.
May he rest in peace.
