The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) extends its most sincere condolences to the brotherly Libyan people and the families of the victims who tragically lost their lives due to the devastating floods that swept through the country on Monday.
The SOC stands firmly in solidarity with the brotherly people of Libya and extends heartfelt wishes for the safety and well-being of all Libyans, especially those who have been injured. We also call upon United Nations organizations to respond swiftly and directly to the crisis, aiming to prevent any further loss of life and minimize damage.
While the Syrian people have endured their own share of tragedies and hardships for many years, they are deeply saddened by the events in Libya and the earthquake that has struck Morocco. The Syrian people express their heartfelt hopes for the safety and recovery of their Arab brothers and their respective nations.
