The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Syrian people, especially Christians, on the occasion of Christmas, as it recalls, with all the people of Syria, the message of Jesus for tolerance, patience, peace, justice and humanity.
On this occasion, we address all Christians around the world as they celebrate the Messenger of love and peace: The path of suffering, which the Syrian people have been walking on for the sake of salvation, freedom and dignity, must take its place in your conscience. It is about time that all peace and freedom loving people around the world stand by the Syrian people in their struggle to regain their rights and put an end to the suffering they have been enduring for the past ten years.
We reiterate our best wishes to all the people of Syria as we urge more unity and cooperation in carrying out duties and seeking to restore rights, ensure the release of detainees and the return of the displaced and refugees.
