The Syrian Coalition’s Supreme Hajj Committee, in coordination with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, continues to work on managing the affairs of the Syrian pilgrims and ensuring that they all have the right to perform hajj without any discrimination. The Committee’s top priority is to serve all Syrian pilgrims and meet their needs.
President of the Syrian Coalition Abdurrahman Mustafa and Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah earlier this month signed the hajj policy for the 2019 season (1440 Hijri). It was agreed to continue the coordination in place for the past seven years and to increase Syria’s quota to 22,500 pilgrims.
The Supreme Hajj Committee has been and will continue to provide services to all Syrian citizens wishing to perform hajj from all parts of Syria. It is currently receiving applications for hajj as the body fully responsible for this file.
The Syrian Coalition once again extends its thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its efforts to serve the pilgrims in general and its reception and provision of the necessary care and services for the Syrian pilgrims, wishing the Kingdom success in managing the hajj season for this year as it always did.
