The Syrian Coalition condemns in the strongest possible terms the intense and indiscriminate shelling of residential areas in Aleppo. Yesterday, December 31, 2013, a regime missile hit a bus in Tariq al-Bab neighborhood, killing at least10 people and wounding 15.
This horrifying attack on civilians, and the Assad regime’s use of barrel bombs in densely populated areas, is clearly intended to cause substantial loss of life and maximum damage to infrastructure. The Assad regime’s war crimes and crimes against humanity must not go unpunished.
We ask for Mercy for our martyrs, health for our wounded, and freedom for our detainees.
Long live Syria and its people, free and with honor.
