The Syrian Coalition condemns the terrorist attacks that on Sunday targeted two churches in the cities of Alexandria and Tanta in Egypt, resulting in dozens of casualties from the brotherly Egyptian people.
These crimes once again reveal the ugliness of terrorist ideology and its sponsors, especially as they targeted places of worship and civilians in an act that expresses the brutality and criminality of terrorists and their accomplices.
On behalf of the Syrian people, the Coalition affirms it stands in solidarity with the Egyptian people with all its components in the face of these terrorist crimes. The Coalition extends condolences to the families of the victims as it wishes the injured a speedy recovery.
