The Syrian Coalition offers its sincere congratulations to all the Syrian people, especially the Syrian Kurds, as well as all the Kurdish people around the world on the occasion of the Nowruz day, the day of freedom and peace and the liberation from injustice and oppression. These are the same goals the Syrian people have been seeking to achieve as the revolution for freedom and dignity enters its ninth year.
The struggle of all components of the Syrian people including Arabs, Kurds, Turkomans, and Syriac Assyrians will continue for the sake of building a free country that guarantees the political, social, cultural and religious rights of all its components and preserves their diversity and sees it as a humanitarian duty to preserve their cultural heritage.
It is our duty today to step up our efforts and draw lessons from past experience and difficulties. The price we are paying for freedom and democracy in our struggle against tyranny, terrorism, extremism and deviant ideologies in all their forms must act as a reminder that our destiny and goals are one and that the struggle for the preservation of the human rights of our partners in a unified country is the only way to guarantee our rights.
The Nowruz day teaches us that difficulties cannot defeat us as long as we remain committed to the principles of our revolution and overcome any sense of helplessness and frustration. Nowruz is a renewed opportunity to whet our spirits and restore the spirit of victory and continuity.
Let us make this day a symbol of freedom and victory.
Let it be a day for all Syrians.
