The Syrian Coalition congratulates the Syrian people on the International Women’s Day as it pays tribute to the efforts Syrian women are making on various levels as well as the great devotion and endurance they are showing and which have contributed to the steadfastness of the Syrian people.
It is our duty today to stand by our sisters through thick and thin and to remain aware of the fact that we are partners in the revolution. It is also an occasion to renew commitment to battling our way together to the end. We are confident that the involvement of Syrian women in the revolution and political action is a one of their rights that they retained thanks to their capabilities and hard work. Our brethren Syrian women continue to make enormous sacrifices for the sake of a free Syria, offering their loved ones and even their lives for a free country and a dignified life.
On this occasion, we extend our highest appreciation to all the female activists, sons and daughters of Syria and to those showing solidarity with them. We also salute those who are working to mark this day and renew the spirit of cooperation and communication through the launch of campaigns and events in various capitals around the world in solidarity with the female Syrian detainees, the displace, the besieged, and the martyred. We call on the international community to do justice to the Syrian people and support their struggle to bring tyranny to an end.
We reassert the pivotal role of Syrian women in building, evaluating and participating in the political and revolutionary work at various levels. Syrian women are invited to greater involvement in the decision-making process as there is a need to overcome all obstacles in front of their effective participation in building the present and future of Syria.
May our wounded women recover, our detainees be free, and our fallen heroines rest in peace.
Long live Syria and its people, free and with honor.
