The Syrian Coalition is attending the Islamic summit conference of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) which will start tomorrow, April 14, in Istanbul. The Coalition is attending the summit at the invitation of Turkey, the host country for the current summit held under the title: “Unity and Solidarity for Justice and Peace.”
The Coalition’s delegation to the summit consists of President Anas al-Abdah, Secretary of the political committee Riad al-Hassan and head of the legal committee Haitham al-Maleh. Riad Hijab, General Coordinator of the opposition’s High Negotiation Committee, is also attending the summit.
On the sidelines of the summit, the Coalition’s delegation will be meeting with foreign ministers of the countries taking part in the summit.
