The Syrian interim government expresses its full commitment to allowing all humanitarian relief agencies unfettered access to all liberated areas across Syria, in accordance with international laws and conventions regarding the protection of aid workers and facilitating relief work.
The Syrian Coalition issued a statement last week calling for international relief agencies to operate in besieged and liberated areas across Syria. These areas have a large number of civilians with treatable wounds who die due to lack of medicine and proper equipment.
The interim government stemmed from the revolution, and will serve the aspirations of the revolution and adhere to its guiding principles. It will work to achieve the objectives for which it was formed without discrimination or prejudice. The interim government bases its vision on the fact that Syria is for all the Syrians; that future Syria will respect the rights of all its citizens regardless of their ethnic or religious backgrounds.
