The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) mourns professor Mohieddin Binana, former academic and Minister of Education in the Syrian Interim Government, who passed away on Monday.
Binana spent a lifetime advocating for democracy, fighting against tyranny, and supporting the Syrian revolution since day one.
The late Binana obtained a PhD in soil engineering from Moscow University in 1975. He lectured in universities for 25 years, during which he was a shining example of integrity and generosity.
The SOC expresses its sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Binana, praying that Allah grant him mercy, forgiveness, and the highest place in paradise.
