The Syrian Coalition welcomes the latest congressional approval for arming the FSA. It is reassuring that the U.S. administration can now move forward.
The Syrian Coalition emphasises the urgent need to provide the FSA with arms and to establish a no-fly zone over populated areas in liberated parts of Syria. This will help repel the heavy military machinery targeting innocent civilians.
The Syrian Coalition renews its commitment to ensuring that weapons be delivered to vetted groups which adhere to the achievement of the Coalition’s goals through the SMC and its affiliated military councils across Syria.
