The Syrian Coalition commends popular protests against the Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS). The Syrian people took to the streets on Friday in different areas across Syria, especially in Aleppo, chanting slogans against ISIS and expressing the Syrian people’s commitment to the guiding principles of the revolution and its goals.
The Syrian people made up their minds. They expressed their rejection of the anti-revolution group. The Free Syrian Army echoed the Syrian people’s choice. It has launched a number of operations to defend the Syrian people and deter the alien group.
Clashes with ISIS are inevitable if the Syrian people are to achieve the goals of the revolution: toppling the Assad regime and establishing a democratic, civil, and pluralistic state, which meets the Syrian people’s aspirations of freedom, dignity, and justice.
We ask for Mercy for our martyrs, health for our wounded, and freedom for our detainees.
Long live Syria and its people, free and with honor.
