Russia’s Claims About FSA Visit to Moscow Meant to Cover Up its Failure in Syria

The Syrian Coalition categorically denies allegations that a delegation from the Free Syrian Army visited Moscow, or that it held any meetings with Russian officials.

The Syrian Coalition’s statement came in response to a statement attributed to the Russian Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson, saying that a delegation from the Free Syrian Army visited Moscow.

The Syrian Coalition considers these claims a part of the Russian misleading propaganda that aims at diverting attention from failures of the Russian aggression on the Syrian people, now in its fourth week, as well as from losses inflicted on Iranian occupiers and affiliated sectarian militias.
