The Supreme Hajj Committee announced that it will begin receiving applications for the upcoming Hajj season 2020 (1441 Hijri) in all its branches in Syria and neighboring countries starting from Tuesday. It reaffirmed its keenness on the success of the its work and on serving all Syrian pilgrims from all regions.
In a press release issued on Tuesday, the Committee warned against submitting fake papers, threatening several measures and penalties against those who submit false or fake documents, including forfeit of the right to perform the Hajj pilgrimage.
The Committee also warned of offices and individuals who were not approved by the Committee, calling on intending pilgrims to submit travel documents and pay financial dues only to the offices approved by the Hajj Committee.
The Committee reaffirmed that it serves all Syrian citizens intending to perform the Hajj pilgrimage this season. (Source: Syrian National Coalition’s Media Department)
