Syrian Coalition visit Child Care Centers on the International Day of People with Disability

A delegation from the Syrian Coalition, headed by Ahmed Jarba and accompanied by the President of the Syrian National Council George Sabra, visited several health centers that take care of children with special needs.  The visit comes in partnership with the Union of civil society organizations and several NGOs in Syria on the International Day of People with Disability.” Furthermore, a delegation from the Media Office of the Syrian Coalition visited “Evren Center” in Istanbul accompanied by the administration of the Premier School, the Union of civil society organizations and the Specialist Education Center for rehabilitation for people with special needs. The week-long campaign organized by the Syrian Coalition include other activities, such as participation by municipalities in carrying out environmental conservation activities, in addition to distributing Syrian food to people in local markets and shopping centers. The campaign aims to help the Syrians to present a positive image in their host communities as part of a partnership with the Syrian communities outside Syria and civil society organizations in Syria.
