File of the Interim Government and its Relationship with the Syrian Coalition Tops the Agenda of the General Assembly Meeting

On the second day of the General Assembly meeting, members of the General Secretariat discussed the legal and governing relationship between the Syrian Coalition and the Syrian interim government, is the executive arm of the Syrian Coalition in the Syrian cities. The political committee has approved a list of 13 candidates out of 50 competing for the presidency of the interim government. The list of candidates include Ahmad Tomeh, Prime Minister of the caretaker government, his deputy, Iyad Qudsi, former interim Prime Minister Ghassan Hito, Mohammed Yasin Najjar, Walid Al-Zoubi, Mohammad Rahhal, Safaa’ Zarzour, Lamia Nahas, Ali Badran, and Saba Hakim, Abdul Rahman Dadam, Abdo Hossam El Din, and Hani Khabbaz.
