Vice-president Mustafa Osso lashes out at remarks made by the Iranian president who spoke about the need for ending the occupation of Syria before any talk about a political solution to the conflict. Osso said that Syria is actually languishing under an occupation by the mullahs’ regime which caused the death of over 300,000 Syrians through its support for the Assad regime, half of which were killed before the emergence of ISIS.
“A regime that supports extremist groups such as Hezbollah, Abu al Fadl al Abbas, Fatimyoun and many others does not have the right to talk about the fight against terrorism, but has to stop supporting extremist groups and pull them out of Syria,” Osso said.
He stresses that the Assad regime and the Iranian occupiers have committed dozens of massacres and slaughtered women and children with knives even before ISIS existed.
Osso slams Iran’s persistence on the talk about constitutional reform and dialogue between the opposition and the regime, adding that the Iranian regime insists on ignoring that the situation now in Syria transformed from being a popular revolution against an authoritarian regime to a war of liberation against all forms of occupation, head by the Iran’s occupation.
