Demonstrations and vigils condemning the war crimes being committed by Assad, Russia and the Iranian militias against civilians in Syria, especially in Aleppo, continue to be held in many cities across the world.
Most demonstrations and vigils were held in front of Russian and Iranian embassies in many European, Arab and Islamic countries to denounce Russian and Iranian support for the Assad regime’s war on the Syrian people.
Syrians in the liberated areas also took to the streets to show solidarity with Aleppo on Friday.
Demonstrations swept many towns and villages in Idlib province of after Friday prayers. Demonstrators called on rebel and FSA leaders to unite against the Assad regime and ignite new battlefronts against regime forces in order to ease pressure on Aleppo.
Demonstrators urged leaders of the rebel and FSA groups to unite behind a national army that represents the revolution and its goals and continues the battle against the Assad regime till the entire country is liberated.
In Turkey’s Istanbul, vigils were held in front of the Russian and the Iranian consulates, with protesters holding flags of the revolution and placards condemning the crimes being committed against civilians in Aleppo.
Demonstrations were also held in Gaza and Haifa in Palestine, in Tripoli in Lebanon, and in the Tunisian capital Tunis.
