The Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) Committee of Civil Society Organizations submitted its work report to the General Assembly in its 52nd meetings highlighting its work and activities during the third quarter of 2020 and its plan of action for the last quarter.
Coordinator of the Committee, Zuhair Muhammad, said that the Committee focused on strengthening cooperation and coordination with Syrian civil society organizations and discussing ways to support the various segments of the Syrian society and meet their needs.
Muhammad pointed out that the Committee held a workshop to discuss the needs and obstacles to registering Syrian organizations as well as ways to reach the best results in this regard.
Muhammad pointed out that the Committee held several meetings in order to discuss how to develop cooperation with civil society organizations within the framework of the SOC’s plan of action to reach out to Syrian institutions and organizations; provide them with support; and empower them to perform their duties towards the Syrian people.
