President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Nasr Al-Hariri, sent a letter to Heiko Maas, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, to congratulate the German people and government on the occasion of the German Unity Day.
“On behalf of the National Coalition of Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces (SOC), and on behalf of the Syrian people, I take pleasure in extending my sincere congratulations and blessings to you and the German people, on the occasion of the German Unity Day.”
Al-Hariri reaffirmed his great appreciation for “Germany’s generous hosting of the Syrian refugees, providing humanitarian aid for the affected Syrian people and for the political support for the Syrian Revolution.”
“May our countries and peoples enjoy peace and prosperity and may the plight of the Syrian people come to an end with the kind support and solidarity of the Federal Republic of Germany,” the letter added. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
