President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Nasr Al-Hariri, received coordinator of the Solutions Table, Mahdi Daoud, former director of Nizip camp for Syrian refugees, Celal Demir and discussed with them the conditions of Syrian refugees in Turkey and the displaced people in northern Syria.
Participants included Coordinator of the SOC’s Department of Civil Society Organizations Zuhair Muhammad. Al-Hariri stressed the need to solve the problems facing Syrian refugees in Turkey and improve the conditions in the refugee and IDP camps in southern Turkey and northern Syria.
Al-Hariri stressed the important role of civil society organizations in assisting Syrian refugees and internally displaced persons, stressing the importance that the SOC attaches to the work of civil society organizations in alleviating the suffering of the Syrian people.
Participants agreed to hold a workshop to coordinate efforts and to set up a working mechanism between the SOC and civil society organizations working in the field of relief and humanitarian aid for Syrian refugees in Turkey. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
