President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) Nasr Al-Hariri, sent a letter of appreciation to the CEO of Qatar Charity, Mr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, for its important role in helping orphans, widows and people with disabilities in the liberated areas as well as helping Syrian households across Syria and in Jordan. Al-Hariri tanked Qatar Charity for meeting the essential needs of Syrians, especially the provision of foodstuffs and means of heating in light of the bitter winter conditions and the fallout from the coronavirus.
Al-Hariri expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for the generous support for the Syrian people and the efforts to alleviate their suffering.
Al-Hariri stressed the important role of Qatar Charity in speeding up the provision of emergency medical aid and securing urgent support for the Syrian refugees who were affected by the fire that destroyed their tents near the town of Minya in northern Lebanon.
Al-Hariri called for stepping up support for the Syrian refugees, expressing his hope that God Almighty reward Qatar as well as the Arab and Islamic nations with lasting peace and prosperity. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
