The coordinator of the Political Parties and Movements Working Group of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Muhammad Ali Issa, conducted a field tour in the liberated areas and visited various Syrian political parties and movements. He discussed with them ways of cooperation and joint efforts to achieve the goals of the Syrian revolution and fulfill the aspirations of the Syrian people for freedom, dignity, and democracy.
The tour included visits to the Aleppo Revolutionaries Union, the Waad Party, the Renaissance and Welfare Movement, the Idlib Revolutionary Council, and the Kurdish Tribal Council in Afrin. The meetings encompassed both introductory and consultative sessions, emphasizing the fundamental principles of the SOC, introducing its work and activities, and outlining its plan to advance northern Syria and reshape the Syrian reality. Additionally, efforts were made to strengthen relations with political components and parties.
Throughout the meetings, agreements were reached on future cooperation and coordination, aiming to establish a network of relationships and alliances to unify political visions, particularly concerning key general positions.
Discussions covered the state of Syrian national parties and their political activities, emphasizing the need to develop a map for the parties. This map would facilitate the establishment of an association to bring them together, fostering the exchange of political visions and working towards a unified effort to mobilize and advocate for the goals of the Syrian people and their revolution.
