Activists said that 10 civilians were killed and dozens wounded in an airstrike by regime forces on a bakery in the town of Huraytan in rural Aleppo earlier today. The airstrike completely destroyed the bakery, activists said. Another airstrike by regime forces targeted a bakery in the town of Alatareb west of Aleppo, causing material damage and a fire in the fuel tanks.
Four people from the same family were killed and many more wounded in an airstrike by regime forces on their house in the town of Kafar Hamra west of Aleppo, while more airstrikes hit the neighborhoods of Almuyassar, Tariq Albab, Aljazmati, Alhulluk, Alhaidariya and the Hanano Housings in eastern Aleppo. Several barrel bombs were dropped by regime helicopters on the town of Anadan north of Aleppo and a number of rebel-held towns and villages in southern rural Aleppo, causing civilian casualties.
Civil defense in northern rural Aleppo earlier today warned civilians against coming close to cluster bombs dropped by the Assad regime’s warplanes on the area. They also called on civilians to avoid gathering and stay in basements for fear of the continuing aerial bombardment. Friday prayers in the towns of Anadan, Huraytan and Kafar Hamra were cancelled due to intensified aerial attacks on northern rural Aleppo. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
