The Emergency Response Coordinators Team in Syria on Monday said it had recorded 17 violations of the ceasefire in Idlib and rural Aleppo by the Assad regime in the past 24 hours.
The Team said that the Assad regime forces intentionally targeted residential areas in rural Idlib countryside to prevent the civilian population from returning to their areas.
It condemned the Assad regime and Russia’s continued breach of the ceasefire in northwestern Syria, which was established on March 5, 2020.
The team called on the international community to take action to save civilian lives in the region, stop war crimes, and enforce all international resolutions on Syria. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
