The Syrian Coalition’s Assistance Coordination Unit (ACU) released its annual report for 2013, attached by a report prepared by Deloitte firm as an external observer. The annual report details the work of ACU in the fields of relief aid, development projects and medical aid and also of the performance of its offices in Lebanon and Jordan. ACU’s report includes a financial report and audit reports that were examined by internal and external auditors, along with infographics and evaluation of the performance of ACU in 2013. Deloitte concluded that, as in December 31, 2013, ACU’s financial statements give a right and fair assessment of its financial center. According to the report, the financial aid presented by ACU totaled $10,130,208 USD as of the end of 2013. It is worth noting that in March 2014 ACU contracted with Deloitte to raise the level of financial transparency in front of the Syrian people, donors and partners.
