Hundreds of people who were displaced from their villages south of the town of Manbij in northeastern rural Aleppo on Wednesday protested demanding that the Assad regime forces withdraw from their villages.
The villagers called on the Assad regime to withdraw its forces from their villages and allow them to return to harvest crops. The protestors gathered at a regime checkpoint outside the village of Ras Alyn Alhamir insisting their demands are fulfilled.
Protestors said that regime forces and the so-called Popular Committees affiliated with them have pillaged their villages and stole furniture from houses as well as the remaining vehicles in the villages.
Assad forces continues to prevent the villagers from returning to their homes claiming the villages are military zones. (Source: Syrian Coalition’s Media Department + Agencies)
