The Syrian Civil Defense Corps said that four people were killed and a civil defense volunteer was injured in a Russian airstrike that hit the town of Sahara in western rural Aleppo on Saturday.
At least seven civilians were killed in bombardment by the Assad regime and the Russian air forces in western rural Aleppo on Friday. The victims included five civilian who were killed in the town of Maaret Al-Atareb and tow others who were killed in the town of Al-Atareb. The bombardment also injured many people in the towns of Daret Izza, Al-Tamoura, Pashmara, Sheikh Aqeel, and Urem Al-Qubra.
In Idlib province, three civilians were wounded as a result of airstrikes by the Assad regime and Russian warplanes. At least three airstrikes, 34 artillery shells, and three rockets hit around seven towns in the province on Friday.
The bombardment also hit the towns of Museiben, Nahlia, Bsankoul, Sarmin, Ain al-Asafir, the outskirts of Sarmada, and the eastern outskirts of Ma`ret Masrin
Since November 25, the Russian air force, Assad regime forces, and Iranian-backed militias have been pressing ahead with a ferocious assault on Idlib province. The assault has escalated since December 20, killing and injuring hundreds of civilians and displacing hundreds of thousands more from their homes.
