The FSA groups in northern rural Aleppo said that more forces are to join the fight to expel ISIS from the rest of northern and northeastern rural Aleppo after they captured the strategic town of Alraie on Wednesday.
Alraie, close to the Turkish border, was a major ISIS stronghold in northern rural Aleppo. Its capture by the FSA groups will pave the way for the liberation of the town of Albab northeast of Aleppo.
The Syrian Coalition hailed the FSA for liberating the town of Alraie and freeing its residents of the terror of ISIS. “The liberation of Alraie is a reflection of Syrians’ firm resolve to free their county of the terrorist group that has been, along with the Assad regime, wreaking havoc and mayhem in Syria. The next few days will hopefully see more progress by the FSA fighters on ISIS in rural Aleppo,” the Coalition said. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
