Free Syrian Army groups said they are preparing to break into the town of Jarablos in rural Aleppo near the Turkish border and liberate it from the terrorist group ISIS.
The battle to capture Jarablos comes a few days after the FSA groups have expelled militants of the extremist group from the strategic town of Alraie, the gateway to the town of Albab and a major ISIS stronghold in northern rural Aleppo.
Activists said that ISIS commanders have already begun evacuating their families from Jarablos. The FSA groups announced that their next objective after Jarablos would be the town of Albab.
In southern Aleppo, meanwhile, rebel and FSA groups said they repelled multiple attempts by regime forces to advance on the Technical Aviation Academy north of the Artillery College in Alramousa area. Nearly 20 pro-regime militants, including three officers, were killed, and many more injured in the failed attempts to advance on Alramousa.
The Syrian Coalition praised the commitment shown by the rebel and FSA fighters to liberate Syria from ISIS and defend the Syrian people against the Assad regime and the allied foreign militia. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
