A delegation from the Syrian interim government visited Azaz Hospital north of Aleppo to assess the situation there. Mustafa Haji Hamid, Deputy Minister of Health in the interim government, met with Muyyad Qubtor head of the hospital and discussed the needs of the hospital and the difficulties the staff are facing in light of the increasing casualties as a result of the fierce military campaign waged by Assad’s air force on Aleppo province. The Syrian interim government allocated late last month support worth of $100,000 USD to the hospital for a period of three months. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
