The Kurdish National Council, a Syrian Coalition block, renews condemnation of terrorist acts carried out by the Democratic Union Party (PYD), following reports that the Kurdish party’s police force, knows as the “Asayish” arrested member of the Kurdish National Council Mohammed Shiwesh in the town of Amouda on Tuesday. The Asayish forces also has been harassing member of the Political Committee of the Kurdish Yeketi party Anwar Nassau and leading member of the party organization Marwan Hussein Eidi.
The Kurdish National Council said in a statement that the PYD has stepped up raid and arrest campaigns, forced recruitment and the kidnapping of minors, stressing that such practices will not thwart its struggle for its Kurdish national project in Syria.
The PYD continues to detain Hassan Ramadan, member of the PDK-S’s central committee, Asa’ad Ramadan, member of the Kurdish Democratic Party (KDP) and his minor son, and the 70-year-old Khadija Kalou and many others. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
