The Deaths Documentation Office in Dara’a province said that it recorded the deaths of 23 people in Dara’a province in March, including a child, 10 people who died in assassinations, and seven who died under torture in the prisons of the Assad regime. The figure has been the biggest since the beginning of 2021.
The Office said that the month of March saw a rise in assassinations, adding that it documented 36 assassinations and attempted assassinations that resulted in the death of 27 people and the injury of five others.
The Office also said that it had recorded the arrest of at least 21 people in the same period, five of whom were released at a later time.
According to the office, six persons were arrested by the Assad regime’s Criminal Security Branch, eight by the Military Intelligence Branch, two by the Political Security Branch, and three by the Air Force Intelligence Branch. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
