The Democratic Union Party (PYD) continues its violations against civilians in north-eastern Syria, and activists confirmed the organization has recently banished more than 70 families from the town of Ras Al Ain in Al-Hasakah province and seized their homes. Activists also documented up to 77 cases of violations against peoples of all backgrounds, including Arabs, Turkmen, Christians, and even against the Kurds. The Syrian Coalition has condemned the practices of the YPG militias, the military wing of PYD, which has killed civilians and burnt their houses in rural Hasakah. “These acts pose a threat to the social fabric of Syria and jeopardizes the future of the revolution. PYD is an anti-revolution organization as it has repeatedly cooperated with Assad’s forces in the killing of Syrians and is serving non-national agendas that converge with the goals of the Assad regime.
