The PYD militia cold-bloodily executed three civilians and wounded four others before withdrawing from the village of Abu Kraya near the town of Tell Abyad in rural Raqqa.
Relatives of the victims said that Aziz al-Hammadi, 50, Mahmoud al-Hammadi, 30, and Rajab al-Hammadi, 60, were shot dead for refusing to hand over their vehicle to the PYD militants. The victims were displaced from the village of Slaib Qaran.
Eyewitnesses said that the PYD militiamen opened fire at seven people and stole their vehicle, killing three and wounding four, two of whom are in critical condition.
Many civilians were also killed in explosions of landmines and booby-traps that were left by PYD the militia before withdrawing from the region. Rights activists said that youngster Ahmed al-Muhammed was killed in an explosion of one of these landmines in the village of Musharfa abu Jamis.
Since the start of Operation Peace Spring, the PYD militia have committed grave violations against civilians, which are added to an endless litany of crimes this militia has committed in recent years, many of which have been documented by international rights groups.
