Rebel fighters expelled ISIS fighters from the villages of Tokli and Dodian in northern rural Aleppo earlier today after violent clashes with militants from the extremist group.
Rebel fighters stormed the two border villages after launching a barrage of mortar and heavy machine fire on ISIS positions. Fierce clashes followed which lasted for around nearly 6 hours.
Dozens of ISIS militants were reportedly killed or injured in the clashes for control of the two strategic villages located near the Turkish border. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
