Rebels in Aleppo blew up one of the Assad regime’s positions in the Old City in Aleppo, killing and injuring over 50 pro-regime militants. The explosion was followed by violent clashes that resulted in the rebels’ capture of Bashir Pasha Mosque which regime force turned into a military barracks..
Rebels also destroyed another regime position in the Al-Zahra neighborhood in Aleppo, alongside clashes between the two sides near the Air Force Intelligence building and the the Justice Palace.
Meanwhile in rural Idlib, rebels took control of Masibin hill and the Jouma checkpoint, seizing weapons and ammunition. Battles continue to rage for control over the Al-Mastumah base, while rebels destroyed a tank belonging to regime forces and killed all its crewmembers. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
