Rebels shelled regime positions on the outskirts of Idlib and in the Al-Mastuma army base, killing seven pro-Assad militants and wounding dozens more.
They also captured 12 pro-regime foreign militiamen, including an Iranian officer during clashes in northern Aleppo. Dozens of pro-Assad militiamen were killed or injured during the clashes, with reports of the death of a senior Hezbollah commander who was leading the regime’s military campaign on Aleppo.
