Rebel fighters took control of most of Idlib after violent clashes with pro-regime forces alongside aerial shelling by regime forces on the city.
Rebels overran many major regime positions inside and on the outskirts of the city, and are advancing on the remaining regime pockets in a sector called the security complex.
