Regime forces carried out new chlorine gas attack on the district of Jobar in Damascus, causing a number of cases of suffocation among civilians and rebel fighters. This attack brings the total number of chlorine gas attacks on the opposition-held district to 22. Meanwhile, a child in Douma near Damascus died as a result of food and medicine shortages caused by the siege imposed by regime forces, while two civilians were killed and others injured in aerial bombardment on Madaya in Rural Damascus. Regime forces also dropped 12 barrel bombs on the outskirts of Al Zabadani, alongside aerial shelling on Ayn Tarma and Hammouriya and artillery shelling on Saqba and Al Hajar al-Aswad.
