Breaches of the Idlib ceasefire agreement by the Assad regime and Russian forces have intensified since October 1, with intensifying shelling and airstrikes targeting towns and villages in Jabal al-Zawiya region in southern rural Idlib.
In a press release issued on Sunday, the Emergency Response Coordinators Team said that aerial bombardment and ground shelling by the Assad regime and Russian forces have killed 25 people in Idlib province since October 1, including seven children, two women, and four humanitarian workers.
The Team said that it recorded no fewer than 314 attacks by rocket and artillery as well as jets and drones in the region, adding that the attacks targeted six educational facilities, two popular markets and one civil defense center.
The Team called on all international community to ensure an end to violations and hostilities being carried out by the Assad regime and Russian forces in the region. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
