The Syrian Committee for Human Rights (SCHR) said it had documented 841 people killed in Syria during the month of March, mostly by Assad’s forces and militias loyal to him.
The Committee said that the casualties included 117 children, 75 women, and 37 people killed under torture in the prisons of the Assad regime and the PYD militias.
The watchdog group also said that the victims included 73 people who were killed by the Russian airstrikes, 138 by ISIS, 13 by the PYD militias and 7 people who died of starvation as a result of the siege imposed on eastern Ghouta, parts of Deir Ezzor and the district of Al-Waer in Homs.
The victims were killed across Syria as follows: 165 in Aleppo, 153 in Rural Damascus, 116 in Deir Ezzor, 104 in Dara’a, 95 in Idlib, and 73 in Homs. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
