The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) said that it had documented at least 243 attacks by Russian forces on vital civilian facilities during the period from 30 September and March 15, 2016.
The facilities targeted by the Russian airstrikes included 51 medical centers, 57 infrastructure facilities, 52 educational facilities, 50 houses of worship, 25 residential blocks, 2 cultural centers and 5 internally displaced camps, according to a report issued by the watchdog group today.
SNHR said that November 2015 saw the largest number of Russian attacks, with 55 attacks documented by the network.
The Network pointed out that these numbers represent a minimum of the overall attacks launched by Russia on Syria. The SNHRC report does not deal with the social, economic and psychological damage caused by the Russian attacks. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
