The “Saudi National Campaign to Help our Brothers in Syria” sent a relief convoy of 12 trucks loaded with blankets and winter clothing for the displaced Syrians in northern Syria. Khaled Al-Salama, director of the campaign’s office in Turkey, said that “sending the aid convoy comes as answer to the religious and humanitarian call for helping our Syrian brothers who are going through very harsh conditions resulting from the snowstorm and bitter cold that have swept Syria.” The convoy consists of 12 trucks containing 228,000 pieces of winter clothing that will be delivered to the displaced people in Aleppo and Idlib provinces, while 800,000 more pieces are going to be delivered shortly to the Syrian refugees in Turkey.
