The Ministry of Education within the Syrian Interim Government has wrapped up a highly impactful anti-drug awareness campaign project in the northwestern region of Syria. This campaign was designed to raise awareness about the perils of drugs, shedding light on their causes, consequences, and the harm they inflict on both individuals and society as a whole.
Carrying the banner “Yes to Life, No to Drugs,” the campaign was tailored to engage male and female students. A key element of the initiative was the distribution of informative posters, meticulously crafted to convey stark warnings about the hazardous nature of drugs. Complementing this approach were wall posters placed to reinforce the critical messages.
The Ministry orchestrated an array of awareness lectures and seminars, presented by seasoned experts. These sessions were extended to encompass several institutions, including Free Aleppo University, Shaam University, Al-Nahda University, and teacher training institutes.
As the campaign reached its conclusion, the Ministry of Education called upon all collaborating partners within the awareness-raising committee to actively assume their roles and contribute to the broader extension of this critical initiative. The collective effort is aimed at ensuring the campaign’s ongoing success on an even grander scale.
