The Ministry of Health within the Syrian Interim Government (SIG), in the presence of members of the Scientific Committee, has successfully conducted the practical evaluation examination in three stages at the Ministry’s Health Institute’s practical training laboratory.
SIG has reported that the examination used the OSCE system (Objective structured clinical examination), with students undergoing assessments at three practical application test stations, including the adult nursing skills station, basics of nursing skills station, and pediatric and emergency skills station.
According to SIG, the practical test saw a total of 24 student applicants, with 22 in the General Nursing Department and two pursuing nurse assistant roles. This examination aims to address the status of medical personnel who had to interrupt their education due to their involvement in the Syrian revolution. It marks the third instance of such an examination.
